Course Details
Everyone suffers from writer's block at some point, even long-time professionals. Maybe you've just finished a manuscript and can't decide what to tackle next. Maybe your manuscript is always "nearly done," but never quite there. Or there's a project you've been longing to work on, but your writing output consists mostly of e-mail. Or perhaps you've always thought you had a story in you, but you just can't find a way to get it out of you. Stop watching the cursor blink accusingly at you from a blank computer screen and get revved up to work again. Through unique writing exercises, lectures, and online classes, you'll understand the nature of what's holding you back, learn to overcome or sidestep it, and begin to work on new projects or revisit old ones. You'll get feedback and encouragement from your fellow classmates, and personally tailored guidance from the instructor. This class is designed for anyone who wants to write fiction, nonfiction, short stories, novels , or memoirs. You will leave the class with new edits, ideas, and the motivation to get to the next level of your work.
